I missed the 2006 set, but if you enjoy listening to this one we have to get the 2007 vibes set-- IMO, they were the among the best sets, keeping right up there with Bob Weir and other icons. All the bands played really well, but Assembly of Dust was really the biggest treat for me. Always an incredible setlist.

AOD get's my nod for best set of the weekend as well. Reid is a great songwritter and Nate Wilson brings a certain element to the band that can't be touched.. Passion has alot to do with music and Reid sure does bring it every night...Peace

I missed the GOTV's again this year but this is the next best thing! Great recording my friend! Crispy instruments and very little crowd noise! I really appreciate your recordings in streamable format too!

The sound on this one is very nice- well worth the DL. We heard some of it in the Jeep on RadioVibes, after spending 9 hours in the holding pen. Needless to say we were a little pissed about missing what some have called the best act of the weekend. Got "in" just in time to hear the beginning of Black Sheep. Still have to have it- AOD rocks.
The encores were available at the venue, but they were on the Martin Sexton CD.
Best act of the weekend? Close maybe, but Kimock, whether with Rhythm Devils or Zero, stole the show.....
Cheers.

best act of the weekend is correct sir! AOD is one of those bands that you have to encourage your friends to come see. they keep thinking strangefolk, and while strangefolk in their heyday wasn't bad, Reid is absolutely in his element with Assembly of Dust. if you want dynamics, search no further. and songwriting?...
I've yet to hear a Reid song that doesn't attach itself to the musical area of your brain. indeed, judging from the astonished looks from those around me, AOD made quite a few converts that friday night at the gathering. I've been fortunate enough to have seen more than a few AOD shows but this was my highlight of the weekend rest assured. you could see my smile a MILE away!

PSUIjams- If you need help converting the FLAC's to WAV files so you can burn them to a CD, you need to download this http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html
Then just "drag and drop" the FLAC files into the FLAC converter and click decode.
Easy :)
Peace

I can't vouch for the sound quality here, as I'm downloading as we speak, but I can say for sure that AOD was the best band of the weekend by far. I bought the CDs Friday night, but the encore wasn't included, so I'm very happy to be able to pick it up here. Thanks.

AOD stepped it up and busted out a killer show that totally stood out this past weekend. I heard some of it again on the ride home from a friend who picked up the soundboards after the show. I would love to hear it again but I'm stuck with only haveing the flacs availible. Can anyone help a brother out?
